This August will mark Michaels 22nd year inside the YMCA movement. He has run summer camp programs for inner city YMCAs as well as large traditional day camps inside and outside CT. At the Farmington Valley YMCA throughout the rest of the year Michael works with the School-Age Child Development, Teen, and Pre-School programs offered at the Y. One of Michael’s favorite things to do is spend time on a hike or camping with his wife and 10 year old son Max. Michael is excited for Camp Chase 2012 to begin. He looks forward to the many new additions being incorporated into the Camp Chase Outdoor Center including the NEW Skate Park!.

We are always looking for passionate, qualified staff members to work with the campers at Chase. If you have experience working with children, at camp or in an educational setting, we would love to have you on board. Along with the application please write a personal essay about why you are interested in working at Camp Chase this summer (this should include personal motivation, experience and knowledge, as well as what makes you a unique candidate).

Hiring for 2012 will begin with returning staff applications through the Fall. We will accept new staff applications beginning January 1, 2012! Applicants will be contacted in February and interviews will start in March. We expect to be fully staffed by May 2012 so get your application in TODAY!!!
